People hire coaches for support in many areas like:
- Starting or ending to a chapter in your life
- Building, strengthening, and renewing relationships
- Returning to work
- Starting a business
- Managing your finances
- Maintaining a healthy work-life balance
- …and many more!
When I partner with my clients, I provide them an environment that’s safe and free from judgment so you can discover and bring out your real potential and life a life full of passion and purpose.
A counselor helps you solve specific problems while giving expertise, direction, and advice. In short, you’re given a particular answer or solution to help you solve a specific problem.
On the other hand, a mentor is a more experienced professional and thriving in a particular field. There is some level of coaching here. However, this centers around teaching and learning based on experience and expertise.
Your friend is someone that we can count on to give us support when we’re down, and shake us up when we need a reality check. Sadly, there are just some things that they can’t help you with because chance are, they also experience the same thing.
A professional life coach is someone who…
- Helps you identify and uncover what’s keeping you from reaching your fullest potential.
- Provides you a 1-on-1 relationship focused within a supportive and non-judgmental environment to help you create what you want for yourself.
- Strategize and receive the tools you need to achieve your goals.
- Identify and reframe your thoughts and attitudes.
- Break negative habits
- Learn the steps to reach your maximum potential
- Personal and professional relationships
- …and more!
Simply put, anyone who is looking to rediscover their passions, dreams, and ambitions, or wants to live a more fruitful and fulfilling life should hire a professional life coach.
- Discovering your hidden passions and desires
- Recognizing your inner strengths and assets
- Uncover those negative thoughts and limiting beliefs that are holding you back
- Open yourself to a new way of thinking and perspectives
- Becoming clear on values and life purpose
- Identifying and overcoming self-destructive habits and patterns
- Creating an action plan to achieve your goals
- Learning how to see mistakes and challenges as learning opportunities
- Celebrating your success
- Live a more balanced and fulfilling life
For over 30 years, I’ve been coaching people by helping them discover their talents, develop their skills, reach their fullest potential, and live their dreams. Most of them are middle-aged women, empty nesters, and women returning to work after an extended leave of absence.
I received my Life Coach & Mentor certification from the Raynar Institute as well as a Associate Coach Certification (ACC) from the International Coach Federation.
I am also a Certified Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. I received this certification from iNLP Center.
Additionally, I’m also a member of the International Association of Professional Life Coaches.
So I not only have hands-on experience in transforming lives in a professional manner, but my coaching programs meet the International Coach Federation’s Code of Ethics and Standards.
This should be expected. After all, we’re changing mindsets and habits you’ve believed and practiced all your life.
In many cases, I continue to work with many of my clients even after they complete my program. This is not required. However, I recommend this, so you continue to practice everything you’ve learned during the coaching process.
Accountability is crucial to your success during your coaching program. So, I will throughout the process, I will serve as your accountability partner.
We will meet 2-4 times per month using Zoom. During these times, I won’t tell you exactly what you need to do and not to do. Instead, I will provide you support, tools, feedback, and guidance as you go through each session for you to stay focused.
Right before the end of the session, I will give you some homework to do in between our sessions. These assignments are action items designed to help you explore alternate perspectives as well as working on the challenges you’re facing.
However, if I were to ask you, “what’s the price you’re willing to pay to make your dreams and goals a reality?”
Think about it: we spend money on things like vacations, cars, jewelry, clothes, fancy dinners, spa treatments, shoes, alcohol, beauty treatments, etc.
Why? Because you want to feel good and want to believe you’re successful and we’ve accomplished something.
I’m not against buying these things. I enjoy having all of these as well.
The problem is, the satisfaction and sense of fulfillment you get from these are only temporary.
Coaching, on the other hand, is a life-changing process. For as long as you stay consistent and take to heart everything you learn in the program, the change doesn’t go away after the coaching program is done.
In short, it’s permanent.
By the end of your coaching program, you’ll become more confident and empowered. You will be able to achieve all the goals you’ve set.
What’s more, the transformation you’ll experience at the end of the coaching program affects your family for the better.
So yes, hiring a professional life coach is an investment. But you are worth it!
Whatever we discuss during your coaching sessions will be held in strict confidence and will not be shared with others.
The only exception of this is if I am required through a subpoena to discuss what transpired during our coaching sessions during legal proceedings. The reason is that the privilege of confidentiality given to members of the clergy, therapists, and attorneys do not extend to professional life coaches.
What if I still have some more questions not listed here?
You can schedule a Discovery Call session to receive a free 30-minute consultation with me.
During the Discovery Call session, I can share with you more details on what to expect in working with a professional coach. I’ll also be able to answer any other questions you may have.
